World Unity Inc. sponsored a National Songwriting Contest in 2014 inviting singers and songwriters across America to write a song about equality, diversity and inclusion. The winning song, “We All See the Stars,” by John Ciambriello inspired a campaign, “Singing Equality across America.” World Unity Inc. has been reaching out to school districts inviting them to share the song with all their music teachers. Quoting Aristotle, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Our song educates the heart.
In 2015 Kathy McMinn a teacher from the Plymouth Public Schools was moved by the song and included it in a fundraising concert for the African Children’s Choir - 100 children sang the song! A few months later the song was performed by children at the United Nations! In 2016 Barbara Schwalbe a music teacher from the Highland Goffes Falls School in Merrimack New Hampshire was inspired to teach 429 children the song and have them even perform it in sign language! This video has inspired organizations to share it on their Facebook page! Check it out at World Unity Inc.’s Facebook page and share! To date 62 school districts across the nation have signed up to share the song. You can check out the music sheet below.
