World Unity Inc. is sharing the Sun poem and a vision to build the World Unity Landmark through public service announcements on TV and radio stations across the country.  We’re taking a page from Einstein who once said, “You cannot solve a problem with the same consciousness that created it.  You must stand on a higher ground.”

The Sun poem speaks to our consciousness and empowers us all to embrace our differences and recognize the common humanity we all share.  Imagine if every individual in America and around the world reflected on the Sun poem 3 times a day for sixty days.  It begins with a thought-provoking question:  Are you greater than the sun/ that shines on everyone: Black, Brown, Yellow, Red and White/ the sun does not discriminate © 1985 Sara Ting. 

Imagine the changes that could happen in thinking and actions.  Imagine the kind of social climate we could create in organizations and our communities.  Imagine changes leaders could make to ensure policies and systems are in inclusive and value all people.

World Unity Inc. envisions building a permanent landmark to showcase the Sun poem.  It addresses a social issue that impacts all of us. It is engaging, empowering and enlightening.
